Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. - Ashby's Data Processing Agreements ("DPAs") contain contractual assurances on security, they are also SOC 2 compliant due to the sensitive nature of the data they process on our behalf. Ashby follows industry standards to safeguard our candidates' data in an evolving internet services landscape.
- The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA") has developed the Service Organization Controls ("SOC") framework, a standard for controls that safeguard the confidentiality and privacy of information stored and processed in the cloud. SOC 2 compliance means Ashby's security is founded on five principles: Security; Availability; Processing Integrity; Confidentiality; and Privacy. All of these principles overlap with GDPR requirements. Ashby's services are audited annually for SOC 2 compliance by independent third-party auditors. The availability of Ashby's SOC 2 report is restricted to customers that have signed nondisclosure agreements ("NDAs") with Ashby.
- Ashby uses IP address geolocating to determine where candidates are when they submit their application. This information is then used to determine if GDPR should be applied depending on the location of the candidate. Additionally, Ashby is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield framework.
- Performance of a contract: We process your Personal Data when you provide it to us as part of the performance of a contract or when you request us to take steps prior to such contract (such as a contract for your employment).
- Consent: For certain activities, we may ask for your consent to process your Personal Data for one or more specific purposes.
- Legitimate interests: We may also process your Personal Data as necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company.
